Say No To Plastic : Plastics Poison Us
WWF EU on Twitter: "Plastic pollution is a major threat to #OurOcean and wildlife, but we can all make a difference! Here are 8 eco-friendly swaps to help you #ReduceYourUse and #BeatPlasticPollution

Source: WWF Note: Beyond the lifecycle, the very manufacturing and use of plastic (eg, food containment, clothing, vinyl products, ethers of plastic), etc, etc, is totally harmful to your body and to the environment. Microplastics are everywhere, including in our homes. Plastic packaging seeps microplastics into food. Opening plastic packaging releases microplastics as does preparing food on a plastic chopping board. Cooking with a Teflon-coated pan coats food in tiny plastic particles. 90% of all cosmetic products contain microplastics. A new carpet can double the number of microplastic fibers in your home. Clothes are full of microplastics. Studies show we consume or inhale (vinyl ethers, etc of a new car smell, or synthetic materials at TJMaxx, eg.) the weight of a credit card in plastic each week. Note: Only 40,000-50,000 elephant species are left in the wild, according to the WWF, making them officially endangered (among many other animals that are facing increasing threats).

Alternatives To Meat

Other of the many hazards impinging on us all around…

Solar panels covering the natural earth, depleting soil quality & life, overheating locales, killing birds, etc; human overpopulation while natural life-sustaining resources dwindle; threats to food security from pesticides & herbicides resulting in diminishing returns, low value nutrition, organismic harm; recycling overload – itself bagged in MORE PLASTIC – (stop packaging to begin with); chemicals sent into the atmosphere to effect weather; chemtrails; synthetic materials everywhere which degrade organismic life through breathing, touching, tasting, ingesting; widespread use of phthalates; experimental pathogens
The list goes on & on…
